AWI Bootcamp is a project-based curriculum provides hands-on exposure to many facets of wood processing knowledge, machinery and applications.

The Boot Camp Session is a comprehensive wood processing overview. A project based curriculum provides a hands-on exposure level learning to many facets of wood processing knowledge, machinery and application for wood industry professionals of all experiences.
This session is intended to provide intense exposure-level knowledge for your new hires to introduce them to all aspects of the wood manufacturing process. This course will expedite their growth. It is also geared toward supply-side companies in the wood industry who wish to further educate their workforce. Designed for Sales Professionals, Sales Managers, Product Managers, and Executives, this week-long course will broaden the understanding of secondary wood manufacturing companies.

Monday 1/13: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday – Thursday 1/14-16: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday 1/17: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
FAQ's
- Where are we staying/do I need to book my hotel room? Bootcamp pricing is inclusive of your hotel room for Sunday through Thursday night. AWI will book attendee hotel rooms.
- Will meals/dinners be provided? ALL breakfast and lunches are included in Bootcamp pricing. Dinners are enjoyed as a group and purchased on your own. NOTE: Monday evening meal requires CASH payment (bring min $20 cash).
- How do I get from the airport to hotel? Rideshare or car rental to get from airport to hotel when you arrive. A car rental is not needed during the week as transportation is provided to and from camp daily.
- What supplies or tools do I need to bring? None required! Just bring your best attitude ready to learn and build! Provided for you: textbook/binder, all tools you will need, PPE (safety glasses and hearing protection)
- Appropriate Attire Comfortable shop friendly that can get sawdust on them (jeans), closed-toed shoes, no long-sleeved shirts.
